Join us for a delightful day of exploring ‘the prettiest town is the south’ Edenton, NC. The town is all dressed up for spring! Many of the public spaces are open to visitors. We will enjoy traditional Southern hospitality holiday style!!
9:00 - 10:00 AM: Depart the Hampton Roads for Edenton, NC.
11:00 AM: Arrive in Edenton. We’ll enjoy a lovely guided tour of this historic town. We will also have an opportunity to view some of the beautiful garden spaces in town. There will be time to visit the public buildings which are open for visiting. This is a great way to celebrate spring!!
1:00 PM: A delicious lunch will be served at the lovely River House Restaurant located just outside the town. It is nestled on the banks of the Albemarle Sound. After lunch there will be time to further explore charming Edenton on your own.
3:30 PM: Depart for home. We should arrive back in the Hampton Roads area between 5:00 & 6:30 PM.
6:30 - 7:30PM: Arrive home.
PRICE: $88 per person. Cancellation waiver is available and strongly recommended. The cost of the cancellation waiver for this trip is $7.
Terms: Trip includes round trip motor coach transportation, tour of Edenton, entry into all buildings, lunch at River House Inn, and the services of a tour director for the day. All gratuities are included except those of the driver and tour director.
