Tour the historic home of George Washington, Mount Vernon. The new visitor's center is fabulous! There is so much Washington memorabilia and US history here Not only see Mount Vernon but spend time in all the out buildings and gorgeous grounds on the banks of the Potomac. Lunch is included.
SEPTEMBER 7: Depart the Hampton Roads early this morning. On the way to Mount Vernon we will make a brief breakfast stop in Mechanicsville. A breakfast snack is will be served on board the coach.
10: 00 AM: Arrive at Mount Vernon. You will tour AmericaŐs national treasure and see that is has undergone quite a bit of renovation recently. You will tour the home of George & Martha Washington and have time to stroll the grounds and the beautiful new visitorŐs center as well as the extensive gift shop. Lunch today will be on the grounds of Mount Vernon. You have all day to tour Mount Vernon.
3:00 PM: Depart for the Hampton Roads area. We will make a rest stop on the way home.
7:00 PM: Return home.
PRICE PER PERSON: $95 per person. Payment is due at the time of registration. Cancellation waiver is available and strongly recommended
TERMS: Tour includes round trip motor coach transportation, all tour and entrances, lunch, and the services of a guide for the trip. All gratuities are included except those of driver and guide.
