PAMPLIN CIVIL WAR PARK
PETERSBURG, VA

Visit this fascinating civil war historical park. Journey back in time and follow the ÒbreakthroughÓ battle of the Civil War. This last battle of Petersburg led to the assault on Richmond. Shadow a soldier as he journeys through this historic battle. You will definitely feel a part of the total experience! While there you will have a buffet lunch that includes southern barbeque, chicken plus all the fixings. On our return home we will stop at the historic Virginia Diner for a delicious dinner. This restaurant has been in Wakefield since 1928.
(Depart time will be determined by the number of other pick ups we may have)

8:30 AM: Stop for a coffee break/ breakfast snack break along the way. (A continental breakfast will be served on board the coach.)

10:00 AM: Arrive at Pamplin Park and the home of the Museum of the Civil War Soldier. Begin your day of touring the park. While here you will see four museums, four ante bellum homes, living history venues and shopping.

12:00 Noon: Lunch will be served in the on site restaurant. Your menu includes: barbeque, chicken, baked beans, cole slaw and much more.

3:30 PM: Depart Pamplin Park for our return. On the way, we will stop for dinner at the historic Virginia Diner Restaurant. A delicious dinner will be served. It will include Virginia ham and peanut pie!/font>

6:00 PM: Depart for home returning between 7:00 and 7:30 PM.

PRICE $87 per person (no refunds after April 1, 2010 unless cancellation waiver has been purchased.)

TERMS: Trip includes round trip motor coach transportation, entrance to park, tour, lunch, dinner and the services of a guide for the day.
